Inventory file names should end with the ".invy" tag and be saved in the Inventory folder which is in Plaque Simulator's master data folder.

When Plaque Simulator is launched it recursively parses the master data folder for recognizable files. Inventory files are added to the Open Inventory File menu. The 1st item in the menu (which is sorted alphabetically) becomes the startup inventory unless you have specified an inventory preference.

Radionuclide source inventories are managed from the Inventory dialog which is accessed from either the Radionuclide Menu or the Sources button in the Plaque window. Inventory files store source identifiers, quantity and assay data.

Inventory files are a convenience to help organize and keep track of your radionuclide but they are NOT a linked database in this version of Plaque Simulator.
