The tumor appearance menu in the Setup Appearance window offers several options for modeling and displaying the tumor.

TumorRenderMenu

This group of items selects the 3D rendering method

  • Translucent - the tumor surface is rendered translucently.
  • Opaque - the tumor surface is opaque.
  • Edges - the tumor surface is drawn in wireframe.
  • Texture - the fundus photo collage is applied to the tumor surface as an OpenGL texture.

This group of items selects the shape of the tumor

  • Peak - the tumor has a conical shape, sloping linearly from its apex to the perimeter at its base.
  • Dome - the tumor is dome shaped, this is the default appearance.
  • Mushroom - the tumor is shaped like a mushroom or ball.
  • Custom Shape... - opens the tumor shape parameters dialog to customize the shape.
