plaque offset

The plaque offset window allows you to offset (or inset) a plaque from the surface of the sclera. The default offset is zero mm.

A plaque is normally considered to touch the external sclera at the center of its concave surface, with its central axis pointing towards the center of the eye. To conform to an eye whose anterior hemisphere is oblate, you can adjust the plaque's attitude by applying an angular "wobble" with respect to the default orientation. This is most useful when positioning a plaque over a very anterior tumor and when a portion of the plaque sits over a muscle.
