HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIRED

  1. Apple Power Macintosh G3, G4, G5, iMac, eMac, iBook or Powerbook.
  2. 256MB (or more) RAM.
  3. MacOS-X 10.2 or greater (or MacOS9 w/Carbon library).
  4. 15" or larger video display capable of 24-bit color at a resolution of 832 x 624 pixels or greater.
  5. A source of 16 bit DICOM or TIFF images, or...
  6. A digital camera or film scanner & digitizing software capable of producing 8 bit (256 shades of gray) images in PICT, TIFF, GIF, JPEG or other common file formats or 16 bit TIFF files (e.g. Epson 4870 photo).
  7. For mammography use only: Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software is required in order to process the mammogram sesssion files. Excel is NOT required for normal imaging use.
