Isodose Normalization

From the Isodose menu:

Selecting Normalization Point... opens the isodose normalization dialog.

  • Isodose normalization defaults to 1.0 at the current prescription (Rx) point.
  • Enter the normalization value (e.g. 1.0) in the text field.
  • From the popup menu, select a point at which to normalize the isodose plots.

Isodose plots will be normalized to the entered value (e.g. 1.0) at the:

  • Tumor Apex - Tumor apex.
  • Plaque CAX Point - A point on the plaque Central AXis.
  • Macula - The macula (approximated as the posterior pole).
  • Optic Disc - The center of the optic disc.
  • Rx Point - The current prescription (Rx) point (default).
  • Tumor TAX Point - A point on the Tumor AXis.
  • Point of Interest - A digitized point of interest.
  • Coordinates - User defined coordinates.

The normalization dialog controls will change depending upon which point has been selected from the menu. Below are illustrated some of the other variations of the normalization dialog.
